Little Bit and I have been wanting to get back into reading more books as the weather cools down, so this gift from Pan Macmillan Australia couldn’t have come at a better time.
Written by Aussie author Wendy Lynn Newton Author, The Secret Garden Club is a book that draws readers in to the realness of being human. The charming, engaging narrative invites us to reflect on our own relationships and interactions with others, and view our lives as gardens made up of a plethora of diverse species doing their best to survive and thrive.
Humorous, somewhat mysterious, and ultimately welcoming and relatable, this is a book that gardeners and readers alike will enjoy. And if you currently feel like you’re “in your composting era” (ie life resembles a steaming heap of …*ahem*… organic matter), this might just be the book for you; because remembering the promise of Spring when you’re in the depths of Winter does wonders for cultivating hope. ☺️
Thanks Pan Macmillan and Wendy for this read - I’ve really enjoyed it!
