This fence started with a simple brief: make it last, make it beautiful. So we went deep—hardwood posts buried 1m into the ground, extra rail for strength and alignment, and capping to finish it clean.

The inside view matters too. Added 70mm pine decking on the bedroom-facing side so it looks just as good from the window as it does from the street.

Best part? Met some legends of the neighbourhood while we were at it. Quality work + quality people = best job in the world.

Old retaining wall had failed and wasn’t doing its job.
Stripped it out and replaced it with steel posts and treated pine sleepers, with proper drainage behind the wall so it’s built to last.
