Can I share one of the worst parts of my job? 🫣

Telling clients how long the whole process can take to furnish their home *cue the womp womp sound*

Sometimes, depending on the size of home and products selected, it can take a good six months for the whole thing to come together. Sometimes longer (eek).

Imagine the shock when clients come to me to say they have settlement in two months and want the place furnished 😳

I guess this is my public service announcement: if you're building a new home, getting in early to talk furnishing is soooo important.

If you're in an existing home, it's still worth allowing up to six months to cross the finish line.

There are ways we can make it happen sooner, but the earlier you get in contact, the more we can work you in around our existing clients.

It's time to say goodbye to those big bulky wall units, and this makeover proves it 👋🏼

Here's a little before-meets-after for you from our Taylors Hill project here in Melbourne. What a change we made from dark and gloom to airy and ambient.

The unit had to go. But that was just the beginning. New carpet, new paint, a complete layout change, new furniture, and a fireplace installed. I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with my handiwork.

Turns out our client was too 😇

Initially, the rooms from the entryway through to the main living area were all disconnected and now they flow seamlessly!

I love getting this feedback from our clients. The goal is always "you, elevated!" when we transform a space, and I'm so pleased they felt reflected in the end result.

A quick peek inside our San Remo project… 💙

Once the weather gets warmer we’ll get some professional photography done This is a bold Hamptons vibe, and we’re yet to have a style like this in the TLC portfolio.

We’ve done Hamptons designs plenty of times over the years, but this one was so epic (furnishing, living room joinery, curtains, painting and more) that we definitely need to capture it in all its glory. The clients were so amazing throughout and the result is one we’re all very happy with.

Divine wallpaper by Sara Hingle. These Walls made the clients existing headboard really shine. Bedside tables from Canvas + Sasson added the organic element the room needed, and the pendant by Robert Gordon Pottery finished it off nicely.
