The newest member of our team is 3rd Year apprentice Korbin. We’re excited to take him through to the end of his apprenticeship and beyond.
What made you choose landscaping as a career?
I chose landscaping as a career because it’s an outdoor and physical job.

What’s your favourite part of the job?
My favourite part of the job is the end where you can see the progress you’ve made.

What’s been the biggest thing you’ve learned so far?
I would say the biggest thing I’ve learnt so far is how to work safely and keeping my body from being swore while working and using power tools properly.

What’s your favourite plant and why?
Hydrangeas are my favourite plant they are a colourful option for your garden and they pop really well in all colours.

What’s your favourite tool on site?
My favourite tool on site would be a shovel or a rake just for the landscaping you can do with it like planting, loading barrows or using a rake for moving materials around.

What project have you enjoyed working on the most?
The most recent job in elwood has been my favourite as it has a bit of everything and that’s why I love landscaping so much.

What skill are you currently trying to improve?
I’m trying to improve my circular saw and grinder cuts to be straight every single time.

What’s one thing most people don’t realise about landscaping?
It’s not just the things you see on the surface and there are a lot of things that go on below the finished product.

The experience that Michael has is amazing for my learning and makes it fun on site which is crucial for work.
