Council approved the removal of this hazardous Eucalyptus scoparia in Blackburn.
Such a good looking tree. It was a shame to bring it down. However it was hollow and full of water at the lowest union and had a structural crack in the heartwood at around 15m. Its days were numbered, but we made sure we got it down safely for the Steve and Dianne.

Coldstream was a picturesque job site today. Deadwood, reduction of over extended limbs and a tidy was the required work...

Coldstream was a picturesque job site today. Deadwood, reduction of over extended limbs and a tidy was the required works for this Quercus palustris - Pin Oak.
The tree is a major feature of the space and is the perfect backdrop for summer weddings held at this venue.

This was a big removal. The James Sterling were all huge and overgrown. It was time for a fresh start.
