Garden week was the forerunner of the current MIFGS.We think Will can claim to be one of the first to make an outdoor garden. He created a rock garden under the eye of John Cowell when he was at Littleacre Nursery. This was in 1986 when Garden Week moved to Burnley Gardens and a more outdoor setting. 1983 was the first year at Ringwood Cultural Centre and the first Will had a hands on role with a Garden Week stand hence the program. Much has changed but what hasn't is when management and security changes there as is chaos at bump out and tonight was no exception.

Melbourne international flower and garden show brochure 2001, the first year we operated the Hancock's stand. Twenty five years later we say goodbye as this will be our last show. Hancock's continuous relationship with the show goes back to the first one in the World Trade Centre when Rex and Kath were propreitors.

Daffodil flower and potted bulbs now at our farm gate shop. For over 50 years our flower stand has been a destination to obtain that cheeriest of Spring flower- the Daffodil.

Cut bunches of daffodils harvested at advanced build so you can determine colouring. Large 6 inch pots are used so to give the best conditions for potted bulbs.

Another daffodil spring starts to fade into our memories as the flowers fade. Our garden flower show is officially over but the garden still looks fine and there are still a few flowering pots.
