We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Midweight Interior Designer to join our creative team at InStyle Direct.

A little about us

We’re InStyle Direct, a London-based interior design and furnishing company with over 20 years of experience transforming residential spaces.

From stylish apartments and bespoke homes to show apartments and large-scale residential developments, we work on a wide variety of projects.

Our design studio is busy, collaborative and creative, and no two projects are quite the same.

So, what’s the role all about?

As a Midweight Interior Designer, you’ll take ownership of projects from initial concept through to installation.

You’ll be:
• Creating mood boards, layouts and design presentations
• Selecting furniture, finishes, fabrics and accessories
• Managing budgets, suppliers and timelines
• Working directly with clients
• Collaborating with our design and installation teams
• Visiting sites and overseeing finishing touches

Who are we looking for?

Someone with at least 3 years’ professional interior design experience, a strong creative eye and the confidence to manage projects independently.

You’ll be organised, commercially aware and genuinely passionate about interiors.

For this family holiday home, Head of interior designer, Severina, brought a sense of playfulness throughout, weaving grown-up sophistication into the children’s rooms and a little childlike wonder into the rest of the home. A space for the whole family to enjoy.

A few recurring themes caught our eye at Decorex International | Europe’s Luxury Interior Design Show this year. Florals were everywhere, extending to botanical-inspired lighting and artwork. Organic shapes, sculptural furniture and heavily textured ceramics also featured, alongside earthy greens, warm ochres and rich burgundy tones.

What we particularly loved was the contrast between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design. A real appreciation for the handmade, the imperfect and pieces with personality.

Less about everything matching, more about everything having a story.

As part of a period property refurbishment, we paired Cole & Son (Wallpapers) Ltd Seasonal Woods print with a sculptural wall light by EICHHOLTZ. A playful contrast that brought contemporary to a heritage setting.
