Very grateful to the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board for hosting me and my local natives again @ the Yorke Peninsula Field Days. As we welcome in Spring with all it’s beauty and much needed warmth, we also know too well how quickly it can start to dry out!! Still a very good window for easy planting and success, especially if you plan to water through Summer?

🌱Well as they say...."You can never count your chickens til they hatch" and so it also rings true for me as a plant propagator😆 All going to plan and surviving this crazy heat, wind and beepin' spoggies this is my updated species list for 2025's planting season!!

🌱Definitely a busy time of the year for me!! Been out and about doing site visits, collecting seeds/cuttings, filling tubes etc.
🌱Thanks to some handy helpers I've had a great start to this propagation season
🌱Will be updating and adding to my species list for 2025 asap
🌱I am still taking pre-orders for next season, especially important if you are planning any large scale projects or very specific species

Another very important aspect of regenerating our natural environments is actually supporting our existing local native vegetation!!
It’s not always about planting the right natives sometimes we have to assist the bush to be able to heal itself!!
The BUSH FOR LIFE program has so much knowledge and experience to offer, would highly recommend getting involved🪴👏🪴

Although I have been involved with many planting projects across YP, this is the first official one for GumFlat Native Plants. Such an incredibly fulfilling experience to be able to, not only grow and supply the right plants but be hands on with the planting out! I am so very grateful to my team, Bonnie Sanderson and Meggie Moon, who were legends on this very muddy and less than easy site!!

Very pleased to have one of my largest pre-orders of 1100 plants picked up and planted out in the last few weeks! So fulfilling to be able to provide plants sourced from the areas that these will be used to help restore our degraded and delicate coastal dune ecosystems, happy dance right here🌱🕺🌱
