Kelly St, Battery Point - Completed in 2022

Striving to strike a balance, we aimed to preserve key aspects of the building's original charm while integrating a complementary extension. This new addition bathes the living wing in warm sunlight, and the interconnected spaces flow effortlessly, with thresholds delicately carved through the building's heritage fabric. These apertures not only frame picturesque views but also strengthen the link between the old and the new, creating a captivating architectural narrative. ✨🏡

Completed in 2020 was the adaptive re-use of an old steel workshop into a brand new Head Office for Hutchinsons Builders in Hobart.

The brief was to transform this industrial gem into a dynamic workspace whilst maintaining the rugged appeal and saw tooth roof of the old Minty's building.
