After a very busy week with the storms it was sad to see this 35+ year old beauty go but this
Large mahogany was situated right in between two Propertys and was suffering from Borer Beetles and had quite severe internal cracks,
( not one crack was visible till the tree was cut up after it was taken down.)
The cracks were caused by being a large tree standing alone in a yard and getting the full force of the winds and in this case the bores weakening the limbs and trunk.

We have to plant another native tree or trees, so I will post some updates of what trees and where we plant them.
