The Horticultural Media Association Australia, invited me to do a webinar talk on the gardens I’ve had the opportunity and pleasure to work at.. Translation of the article:
An Australian gardener is working at Claude Monet’s Garden Marmottan in Kitagawa Village. Ash Walker, who also experienced gardening at Monet’s garden in Giverny, France. `I want to bring back the horticultural techniques of Kitagawa Village, where the entire team takes care of the garden and environment with love and patience. ‘Mr Walker is spreading around the world’
Mr. Walker took advantage of his time in high school to attend a horticultural school in 2017 from Australia, where he worked in gardens and nurseries. Became a qualified horticulturalist in 2019 and then was awarded the Global Footprints scholarship in 2021, which gave Mr Walker the opportunity to travel to Europe (in 2022) to work in 7 gardens and garden shows. Mr Walker stayed for a total of 6 months on his Global Footprints Scholarship and the guidance from Australian Garden Council. Mr Walker then returned to Monet’s garden Giverny 2023 for 6 months and Mr Walker’s opportunity to work at Monet’s garden Kitagawa was made possible via the Head gardener at Monet’s garden, Giverny.
Mr Walker, who arrived in the village on the 9th of this month, is staying at a guest house in the village and working hard on creating Monet’s garden during the winter season. On the 12th, we took out the rhizomes of water lilies and replaced the soil at the ``Water Garden’’ pond. Gardeners at the garden were very impressed with Mr Walker’s work, saying, ``He works very well in the garden and is happy to share his knowledge with everyone.’ ‘ more reads in newspaper

How AWESOME is this, Kate Gould and the team presented me with a Gold medal from the award winning Sanctuary Garden “Out of the Shadows” at the Chelsea Flower Show for volunteering on the garden as part of my Global Footprints Scholarship. I’m so Thankful and lucky to be part of such an awesome team, it was an experience that’s full of memories that I’m going to hold for the rest of my life.

Hey, I’m a Horticulturist in the Southern Highlands offering horticultural Services. I have a certificate III in horticulture and I’ve experience in working in gardens around the world!

I’m the 2021 BBM scholar for horticulture, I’ve worked at the Chelsea Flower show on Kate Gould’s ‘out of the shadows’ sanctuary garden which won Gold, best in category and best construction. I’ve also worded at Kew botanic gardens, Hidcote Manor National trust, Claude Monet’s garden in Giverny France and the Eden project in Cornwall UK.

With my knowledge and experience, I can demonstrate world class horticultural practices and apply my skills to any small garden.
