Replaced this laminate benchtop for a solid Pinkgum top. It’s nearly 3m long so it was heavy to lift into position. Thank goodness I have helpers on these heavy jobs. The customer cut the tree & got it milled into slabs. Lots of work at my end to get it looking good but I think the end result speaks for itself. A very happy customer.

Before & after shots of a kitchen I did before Christmas last year. The old green kitchen was actually in good condition but outdated. Instead of being dumped, the green kitchen was relocated to another persons dwelling.

It’s been a busy past week cladding this wall for a local house here in Mt Compass. The hall way is 24 metres long with 3 metre ceilings. Cladding is profiled solid Tasmanian oak. Each individual piece had to be cut to length & then coated with a light walnut stain/oil. Top & bottom, I have put in a small shadow line or negative detail hopefully creating a modern look. I was lucky to have a neighbour temporarily come out of retirement to help me with this job. Bert, your company was a bonus and a massive savings in time thanks to you. I think the cladding has made the house appear warmer while keeping a modern touch. Thank you to my customers for your repeat business.

Had fun installing this today. Shelving by day & bed by night. Looks great & super functional. Perfect for smaller rooms & space poor offices or just additional shelving & bedding. Thanks to my helper. It wouldn’t have been fun on my own.
