Anthony has reportedly secured a surprise 47% stake in the business despite never:
• starting a chainsaw
• grinding a stump
• dragging brush in 40° heat
• unclogging a chipper
• fixing hydraulic leaks at 7pm
• or surviving a week of breakdowns, rain delays and phone calls.
Operationally, his involvement has been remarkable.
Every time we remove a tree, grind a stump, fuel a machine, or invoice a job… Anthony appears like a mystical tax fairy to collect his share while contributing absolutely f-all to the actual work.
Meanwhile the team will continue:
✔ climb trees
✔ dislodge widowmakers
✔ loading logs in the mud
✔ paying wages
✔ paying insurance
✔ paying fuel bills
✔ fixing broken gear
✔ machinery repayments
✔ and wondering where the bloody money went
The deal worked out pretty well for him really.
