This is the sort of stuff that I post in “My Story” for friends only in the “Jaylee Club” on Snap Chat, along with “behind the scenes snaps” of everyday life, as an original Australian artist…To become a member of the “Jaylee Club” simply add on Snap Chat and say “Hey Jaylee, that’s me too!” In your first snap to me, so I know your a genuine “fan” who wants in on this Snap Chat Club; And so I know to add you in my selection process as I sift through the 8.1k current “members” of the club so far…For those who don’t know me, I was president of our Environment Club in High Scool from grade 10-12 (2000 - 2002) and I had the privilege of releasing rehabilitated Koalas from the local Koala Conservation Centre, into our school grounds - I was interviewed by Ranger Stacy on Totally Wild for television viewing; Since high school I have only seen one koala, a “big mumma” koala, in 2012 when I was pushing my child in a pram on a walk…It has been the only Koala in the “wild” that I’d seen since high school days, 10 years earlier…This koala was spotted on an evening drive up the “ol’ hill” to enjoy the view with my family and show my children the place where I went at night growing up, especially as a teen into my 20’s, to clear my mind and remember how small I am in this big world- Looking at stars, city view and imagination of what it was like before all themLights, cars and building- A land before time… Playing spoto in the bush and trying to climb the tower (they now have a fence around) 🙈🙊🙉 Seeing that the one swing that was there, now a car park and that the park that is now there, is an updated children’s playground with climbing frame too… There’s even a cafe and huge toilet block now…As change comes and I see development in this area on such a wide scale from the top of that “hill” (Aussie slang for mountain)- From then till now- I can see the koala baby here, this little mate doing what his kind have done since long before any of us, tracking his treck, the same path those before walked- They are stuck in their ways them’ koalas for generations- It’s good to see them “back” where they always were, once again trecking their track ❤️🐨❤️Now it’s off to a private function gig for me… See y’all ‘on the morrow’ xoJaylee, “That’s me!”
