This adorable little (native) floof was doing a brilliant job of learning to fly but was in the backyard where the dogs were showing interest. He happily hopped on my hand so I could move him to the garden behind the fence so he could keep practicing under the watchful eye of mum and dad.

So grateful for this delivery of coffee grounds and chaff from ! Coffee grounds are full of nitrogen and loved by worms so spread them (thinly) and compost them for the best soil around!

These two trees are doing so well! They’ve been in the ground for a couple of months and seem to be thriving. They are a test for the area which will have a bunch of native flowering trees for the bees. They’re well protected from the goats and roos 🦘🦘🐐🐐

When you don’t use pesticides, nature takes care of the balance for you. These are our resident magpies. This is mum and dad; baby is in the tree. Every time they have another little one, they bring them to our garden to teach them how to find food. On hot days I pop the sprinkler on and leave out a bowl of water. The garden provides everything else they need.
