HEALTH ADVISORY: Warning to gardeners using potting mix

Cases of Legionnaires’ disease caused by Legionella longbeachae bacteria have increased 60 per cent from this time last year 👀

The disease, a form of pneumonia, is often caused by harmful bacteria that can be inhaled or spread from hand to mouth after handling potting mix, soil or compost. So, if you are exercising your green (or not so green) thumb this week, wear a mask and gloves and be sure to wash your hands 🧼

5 YEARS...

It makes me proud to have survived initially the gestation period and in recent times ‘COVID’.

Many many thanks to my Family, Friends and Clients for their continued support.

Last Sunday, my Senior most Client Grace celebrated a milestone 100th birthday.

It was indeed a privilege to be able to wish her in person.

On a personal level, I was grateful to present her with a Flower arrangement and from the Business a potted ‘Corydalis Porcelain Blue’ (as Blue is her favourite colour).
