Transformed this home just before Christmas 2023, with extensive render crack repairs and membrane painting the whole house with Dulux AcraShield.

Colours Colorbond Paperbark and Colorbond Jasper. Height access was up to 8m at the front so we used a very high mobile scaffolding.

Boys did a great job for a difficult shaped house.

When requesting a quotation for Rendering your home, many people base the quotes and compare on price. This always astounds me when they are cladding, their biggest investment and a home that’s generally worth 800,000+ or mostly over 1 million and they are prepared to just hire anyone. There are a lot of cheap labour out there in Melbourne but it doesn’t mean they are good or will do a quality job. In my opinion, it’s a massive risk to get someone to apply mud over the outside of your house, they certainly need to be a skilled expert and that also comes with a price if you want the job done to the highest quality.

🫶 This vertically combed render gets a BIG YES from us! The whole wall is a piece of art! If you’ve ever tried something similar, you’ll appreciate what an amazing job the renderer has done.

Acrylic rendering can contribute to improved energy efficiency in a house primarily through its impact on insulation and moisture control. Here's a more in-depth explanation of how acrylic rendering can enhance the energy efficiency of a home:

Improved Insulation:

Acrylic render is applied as a thick, insulating layer to the exterior walls of a building. This layer acts as a barrier against heat transfer, helping to keep the indoor temperature more stable. In colder months, it reduces heat loss from the interior, and in warmer months, it prevents excessive heat from entering the building. This insulation effect can lead to reduced heating and cooling costs.

Renovating a kitchen can be a significant investment, but it often comes with numerous benefits that can make it a worthwhile project. Here are five of the best reasons to renovate a kitchen:

1) - Improved Functionality and Efficiency:

One of the primary reasons to renovate a kitchen is to enhance its functionality. You can redesign the layout, add more storage space, and install modern appliances to make cooking, cleaning, and food preparation more efficient and enjoyable. An efficiently designed kitchen can save you time and effort in your daily routines.

2) - Increased Home Value:

A well-planned kitchen renovation can significantly increase the value of your home. The kitchen is often considered the heart of the home, and potential buyers are willing to pay a premium for a modern, updated kitchen with high-quality finishes and appliances. If you plan to sell your home in the future, a kitchen renovation can provide an excellent return on investment.

3) - Enhanced Aesthetic Appeal:

An outdated or worn-out kitchen can detract from the overall appeal of your home. A renovation allows you to update the kitchen's appearance with fresh paint, stylish cabinetry, countertops, and modern fixtures. Aesthetic improvements can create a more visually appealing and welcoming space for you and your guests.

4) - Energy Efficiency:

Many older kitchens lack energy-efficient appliances and lighting. By renovating your kitchen, you can replace outdated appliances with energy-efficient models, install LED lighting, and improve insulation. These changes can lead to long-term cost savings on your utility bills and reduce your environmental footprint.

5) - Enhanced Safety and Comfort:

Safety is paramount in the kitchen. An outdated or poorly designed kitchen can pose safety hazards. During a renovation, you can address safety concerns by updating electrical systems, improving ventilation, and installing non-slip flooring. Additionally, a renovated kitchen can provide a more comfortable and enjoyable space for cooking and spending time with family and friends.

While these are some of the best reasons to renovate a kitchen, it's essential to carefully plan your project, set a realistic budget, and work with experienced professionals to ensure that the renovation meets your needs and goals. Kitchen renovations can vary widely in scope and cost, so it's crucial to prioritize the changes that are most important to you and your family.
