A long stroll around Newcastle this morning. Breakfast at the beautiful Estabar opposite Newcastle Beach followed by a loop around Pacific park, the foreshore and Nobby’s beach and back to Newcastle beach. Got a bit damp, ocean baths closed for cleaning and Newcastle beach closed due to conditions. Nobby’s was still open for swimming but still very rough.

Sometimes we miss the little common plants amongst the dazzling ones - here are a few that have caught our attention lately. Big shout out to this afternoon for a fabulous dirty chai and pistachio scroll 😊 the ladies at where I used my rewards vouchers and for my booster shot. Everyone was wonderful and each experience made my day a little more delightful ❤️

Georgetown and Waratah again today… we promise to venture out a bit further when the Xmas new year craziness (plus covid) calms down. Our aim is to spend sometime exploring closer in town eg Cooks Hill, The Hill and Merewether so recommendations regarding coffee haunts would be warmly welcomed. In the meantime, have a wonderful New Years Eve and we’ll see you in 2022
