Hey everyone just as a continuation on our last post re the army worm out break in the hunter.

We thought we would throw up a post to guage interest first in people who would be interested in us servicing your yard for army worm.

We are very selective in the products we use and recommend so While the product we will be using is more expensive than an off the shelf one from the big green shed one of the big benefits is the common chemicals have no residual effect so while it may seam cheaper you will have to spray multiple times to ensure full treatment

The product we will use is both Curative and protective so this will stay residual in your lawn for 4-6 months and can be used to treat your original army worm out break and or prevent it

The army is here the army worm that is,

We have received a lot of messages in the last few days with regards to army worm infestation after the recent rains we have had.

Unfortunately these little suckers really will wage war on your lawn and destroy an average lawn in a few days.

While there is a few different options you can take to treat these, we thought we would throw up some info to help, there are products available from the green shed but when using these you will have to apply these multiple times to kill them of during there life cycles

We personally recommend acelepryn gr, while this product is a bit more expensive up front it is a great product to use as it is an easy granular product for ease of application and has the added benefit of helping prevent army worm for 5-6 months

COVID 19 services

Hi all hope everyone is staying safe and well.

We have received advice today that with the introduction of stay at home orders for Newcastle, Maitland and the Hunter Vally we are still able to stay open and operate but with some some changes,

As much as we love to have a chat with our amazing customers for the period of the stay at home orders we will be having a strict zero contact policy,

Also while on site we will be wearing face mask’s

We understand that some people may wish to postpone there services and that is 100% ok

We also ask that if any customers have flu / COVID symptoms to please notify us so we can postpone your services
