Starkers Chilli Bushes Brisbane based company selling a wide variety of exotic chilli plants with options in both heat and flavour.

After noticing a distinct lack of variety of chilli plants available at local nurseries, Starkers Chilli Bushes was born out of desire for choice. The aim is to provide a wide variety of options in terms of both heat (scoville scale) and flavour of chillis to our customers. All of the seeds sourced are from local chilli producers within Australia. The plants are germinated and grown on site in Bri

sbane in a climate controlled greenhouse until they are ready for transplanting. Chilli bushes are perfect for the South East Queensland climate, with most varieties thriving through the spring, summer and autumn months. They will survive through winter with a bit of extra care and warmth. They can be grown either in a garden or pot, which makes them perfect for any type of living arrangement.

Decorative and edible! The purple tiger chilli bush grows about 30-40cm tall, has purple, white and green variegated leaves and fruit that ripens from green to a stripy purple and finally red. Packing a medium heat this chilli will add a nice level of heat to any dish but more importantly is perfect for a pot plant to make a great taking point in your garden. We have a few left all for $5. We’ve got Tomatillo seedlings in stock! A distant relative to the tomato but the fruit grows in a husk. Pick when green to make the most amazing, authentic salsa verde you’ll ever taste. At least two plants are needed for pollination so we’re doing a special of 2 for $15 or 3 for $20. PM for details.
