What a busy day for Smart Places Australia

Thank you to all the visitors, friends, suppliers and Ot's who took the time to visit our stand today at the Brisbane Atsa Tradeshow.



Was great to reconnect with old workmates and see the industry coming together to showcase all the great new innovations.

After a restful break, the team at Smart Places Australia is back!

2025 was a BIG year for us.
With changes to our industry, both within the Ndis and Aged Care, we worked hard to find balance between innovation, customer service and expanding our range. A senitment felt by all service providers across our industry.

We want to say a big thank you to our Suppliers, Ot's and Clients for choosing to let us bring solutions into your homes.

Here's what we did:

- Opened a new showroom in North Lakes
- Bought our first 2 work Vans
- Started providing in home trials for rehab equipment.
- Began offering an equipment hire service
- Focused on offering consistent Inservices, to enrich the access of quality products and learning outcomes to our clinicians.
- Created our very own adjustable beed and recliner module, allowing app/ voice control.
- Connected with new distributors with a focus on offering quality brands to our clients.
- Added a new team member Levi to the team to help support quality customer service outcomes

We are so overwhelmed by the support and ongoing collaboration and cannot wait to see what 2026 will bring.

Partners should get to sleep side by side, just like the rest of us.

This week we had the priveledge to deliver two beds from the Avante Australia Pty Ltd range. A Smart Flex 3 and a Smart Flex 2.

Supported by the range from Forté Healthcare. We were able to get this delivery done by the hospital discharge deadline.

Thank you to our amazing suppliers for always helping us bring peace and comfort to our clients, during some of the most stressful times in life.

Last week amidst the busy schedule, I had to snap a quick shot of the beautiful Pride Jazzy Carbon Ultralite. Pride Mobility Products Australia

This unit was out for a delivery to a client in need.

Errol needed something to increase his independence when out in the community.
A chair that needed to be light, so his wife could lift it into the car without injury.

A requirement was, that the chair needed to have the option to add an attendant control to the back of the chair, when Errol was having a bad day.

Which is why we recommended this 15.3kg portable powerchair.

A few accessories were chosen:
- slide in cup holder
- Extra battery 20Amp Lith
- Carry Bag
- Attendant mount

We love being apart of giving people independence. Thanks Errol for giving us the oppurtunity to put a smile on your dial.

It was a Theorem Lift Chair delivery kind of day 🙌

have been designing and producing some of the most supportive and stylish lift chairs our industry has to offer.

With their quad motors, allowing for a best fit in both sitting and reclining. The team at Smart Places love them!

This week we delivered a Windslow 5 Motor chair and also a Alperton Petite 4 Motor chair.
