Today it was with great pleasure that we donated over $360 to Cancer Council. This money was raised from sales of the Pink Belles candle during May.

Each month between now and the end of the year we’ll continue to donate over $10 from the purchase of each Pink Belles candle.

Candle care is so important when burning your candles, making sure you get a friendly and longer lasting burn.
1. On your first burn, always let your candle melt to the edges of the jar. This will make sure your candle has no waste when burning.
2. Always wick your wicks before you light the candle
3. Only burn for 4 hours at a time
4. Burn your candle on a coaster or dish to protect your surfaces.

Tunnelling candle? No worries, let’s fix it together!

Soy wax has a burn memory and when you don’t let the wax burn all the way to the sides of the jar, it will continue to burn only to where you blew it out.

This will start to tunnel all the way down to the end of the candle. Wasting all the wax on the sides.

Hot tip-Always trim your wicks before re-lighting

Candle Care 101 - WICK TRIMMING

Wick Trimming is the process of shortening a candle’s wick to an optimal length—typically about 1/4 inch (6 mm)—before lighting it. This helps ensure a cleaner, safer burn by reducing smoke, soot, and excessive flickering. Regular wick trimming promotes even wax melting, extends the life of the candle, and prevents mushrooming (the buildup of carbon at the tip of the wick).
