It's simply your perception of the situation or more likely how you would react to the same situation.⠀

You're taking your view and applying it to someone else. ⠀

I often hear clients say, "I'm depressed" or "I'm anxious".⠀

By saying, 'I am' it leads you to believe this 'thing' is a part of you, making it impossible for you to change.⠀

But the truth is, it's not part of you, it's a feeling and feelings can change.⠀

When you can start to acknowledge that you can rename your feelings to something more accurate you can start to create yourself a better identity.

Because what you're probably feeling is sad, tired, scared, frustrated, lonely.⠀

The list goes on. When you label your feelings correctly you can identity what you're really feeling From there you take steps to make yourself feel better.⠀
