One of the more interesting jobs we have been engaged to complete this week was replacing the Photo Finish Mirror for Clifford Park Racecourse.
It was very timely we had this job completed this week as Clifford Park returns to racing after the track has been closed to racing for their annual track renovations over the last 5 weeks, let’s hope if your horse is in a photo finish that new mirror gets you across the line first.
This job was completed by Ryan ( Glazier) & Annie (2nd year Apprentice Glazier).

As we close our doors for general business for 2025 we would like to thank all our customers and suppliers that have supported us thru 2025 and we will reopen to normal again 12-1-2026, in the meantime our staff are going to enjoy some downtime with their families after another massive year of work that seen us process over 5500 jobs since we returned last January.
We will still have our 24/7 Emergency Reglaze Service available for broken glass repairs in the event you need us to secure your premises - simply call 46709688 .

Catching up with my mate Steven Bradbury today as we crossed paths in Esk as we are both busy doing storm work, we met 5 years ago off a simple post on a Glaziers page on Facebook and have been mates ever since.
Even tho we were both smiling Steve had only minutes earlier told me the news of another mate that he has worked closely with in the Glass Industry was unfortunately involved in a fatal truck crash this morning, thinking of you tonight mate and also thinking of your mate and his family and work colleagues suffering the loss.

Had an extremely busy day in Clifton fixing multiple damaged windows from Saturdays hail storm, we will spend a lot of time in the next few weeks fixing many more windows in Clifton.
We managed to get a couple of pics with some happy customers this afternoon who were happy we were able to get their homes fixed up in time for this evenings ☔️, it’s has poured rain in Clifton this afternoon and we sat on the verandah and had tea at one of the local Pubs and watched the rain come down again.
Huge thanks to my whole team, we are able to keep our local planned work moving along and also able to get Clifton works moving along.

Huge hailstorms have caused immeasurable amounts of damage to homes, cars and other assets in our local area in the last 24hours. We have already attended numerous jobs in that short time and expect that to continue each day this week as the jobs continue to come thru, all jobs will be completed in the order they come in.
We highly recommend getting in touch with your insurance company and they simply take care of farming the work out to their preferred repairer.
In the meantime it’s best to secure the opening with a substrate ( ie - plastic, contact film or board) that will secure your home.
If you choose to bypass using insurance, simply call us on 46709688 and our office will assist you in booking your repair/s.

We are pleased to announce that we took delivery of the Winlet 350 this afternoon. This machine is capable of lifting 350kgs of glass, which exceeds the weight of any glass we have encountered locally. However, we are currently planning a 180kg lift into a shopfront. In the interim, we will dedicate time to familiarising ourselves with and perfecting the operation of our newest asset. Although a new Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) will be required to utilise this machine, the process will be simplified as we will no longer rely on our staff to perform manual lifts. Once we have completed our training, this machine will be available for wet hire in the Toowoomba area. We anticipate that our newest addition will alleviate the workload of our Glazing team 💪..
