Art of Mind:creative restoration

Art of Mind:creative restoration Art of Mind, creative restoration offers participants creative experiences focusing on music and art. All materials are supplied.

We believe that engaging or re-engaging with practical creative activities restores and promotes a greater sense of well being. Ideally an Art of Mind workshop is 5 hours, including a lunch break. Shorter workshops are possible with our minimum time being 3 and a half hours. Participants engage in 2 singing sessions and 2 art sessions. James takes the singing sessions where he is capable of develo

ping good choral sounds with harmonies. Singing in group, with harmonies promotes endorphin release, an increase in serotonin and lowering of cortisol levels. Jody takes the art sessions that are non threatening, accessible and require no prior experience. Participants will produce a unique artwork using a variety of techniques: print, paint, textiles and more. The visual art activities enhance the intuitive creative process, promoting a sense of wonder that develops the creative intelligences.
