Martin is leading a thesis design studio with engineering professor Brendon McNiven this semester , exploring adaptive reuse and retrofit.
The studio will explore something that many of our projects deal with - the adaptation and retrofitting of existing buildings to improve energy efficiency, give buildings a new life and reduce the waste generated by demolition.

Great to start the semester with a guest presentation from Marjorie Kennedy (Head of Planning ) who introduced students to the many strategies and policies CoM is testing in this area.
