SO MANY BUNCHES AND BUCKETS OF HAPPINESS! Thank you to everyone who reached out to us for flowers once again this Mother’s Day.

My cup is full! Being out and about delivering the bunches throughout this weekend was just the best.

Thank you 🙏 🌸💐

CAPACITY REACHED FOR MOTHERS DAY ORDERS 💐 Thanks to everyone who has reached out for Mothers Day Bunches. We’ve hit our limit and can’t take anymore orders.

So grateful for each and every order. Our flowers have grown into an annual gift for a lot of families and this is a privilege for us.

GRADUATION 👩‍🎓 BUNCH

We’re heading to Bendigo today to watch one of our amazing daughter’s cross the stage and step into their next chapter.

Congratulations, Hannah — we are so proud of you. 💐

GIVE THAT THEY MAY GROW 🌸

Despite a really tough season, we still managed to make our annual donation to the RCH Good Friday Appeal — something that means the world to us.

I didn’t advertise this week as our flowers were limited, but every single bunch ordered this week was treated as a full donation. Thanks to your kindness, we’ve raised $115 for the Appeal.

Thank you for supporting our little patch, even in the hardest seasons.

🌸 BEYOND GRATEFUL on this beautiful autumn Sunday morning. 🌼

I’ve spent most of it out with our flowers — and my heart is so full.

After everything they’ve been through, the flowers in our patch are making a comeback, and I can’t begin to tell you how happy this makes me.🌻

Hopefully I’ll be back delivering bunches to you all soon. I’ve missed you! ❤️

My favourite garden quote from Audrey Hepburn feels especially true right now:

“To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow.”

These massive weather extremes won’t stop us. They’ll just push us to find new ways to work with it.

Happy Sunday to you all. May you find some time to do something today that makes you happy.

Happy Valentine’s Day 🌸

As a micro flower farmer, this should be one of our busiest mornings.

But today, our patch is quiet.

Last month’s record-breaking heatwave took the life out of our summer crop. We’ve had to cut just about everything back and start again.

So sadly, we won’t be at the Nyah Market this morning. But please call down and see my sister Rach from Wood Wood Honey. 🍯

Earlier this week, I spoke with Alice Walker from the ABC about the impact of the heatwave on flower farmers across Victoria. Since the story aired, I’ve heard from growers statewide who’ve also been affected.

Please support your local flower farmers and florists today on this day of LOVE ❤️. Behind every bunch or arrangement are hours of hard work, early mornings, and lots of care.

A record heatwave has destroyed a Mallee flower farm's Valentine's Day blooms, leaving its owner devastated.

🌸 Hello everyone

Just checking in during this heatwave and hoping you’re all keeping as cool as you can.

Yesterday I picked the flower patch bare, and normally around the Australia Day holiday I’d be trimming the chrysanthemums back to get them ready for Mother’s Day — I know that feels a long way off, but that’s the rhythm of it.

But with this heat, that job will have to wait. The garden can rest for now, and so can we.

Please take care of yourselves in this hot weather. Stay hydrated, stay cool, and be kind to yourself ❤️🌻🌸

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

I’ve just finished a big clean‑up in the flower patch and picked this bucket of blooms. If you look closely, you’ll see plenty of sun damage — but they still shine. A reminder that we can hold our brightness even through hardship and uncertainty.

Thinking of everyone across our beautiful state who is living with so much worry as these bushfires continue.

Stay safe. 🌼

WE DID SURVIVE! While the blooms did survive the intense heat this week, they will need a few days to recover. (Just like the rest of us)

Unfortunately we were unable to make the Nyah Market this morning simply because the heat left us with nothing decent to share with you.

Stay tuned for updates! 🌸💕🌷

Many months ago, on a cold Sunday afternoon, we pressed tiny zinnia seeds into potting mix and I wondered where their blooms might one day find themselves.

So you can imagine my joy when I was sent these photos from an awesome gals milestone birthday party held on the weekend.

There they were — our zinnias, dahlias, and the very last of the gladdies — taking centre stage on the tables, and celebrating right alongside everyone.

From trays of seedlings to a marquee full of colour. What a beautiful journey for these little blooms. Thanks for the opportunity 🙏.
