Currently Hiring:

We are looking to fill 2 roles. One as Dispatch Coordinator and one as Nursery Hand.
Hours average 38 per week Mon-Fri over our busy summer season, with ongoing work for the right candidates.

Position 1 - Assistant Dispatch Supervisor
A leadership role assisting the Dispatch Supervisor with order preparation and staff supervision, ensuring all orders are prepared efficiently and quality of orders is kept to a high standard. Performing general nursery hand duties when dispatch is not running including potting & maintenance.

Position 2 - Nursery Hand
Performing general Nursery Hand duties including potting, picking & preparing orders, & maintenance.
Both roles require applicants to be physically fit in order to complete weekly tasks within the nursery.

Key qualities & experience required:
• Previous nursery hand experience highly regarded
• Work efficiently on tasks given
• Happy to work outdoors (rain/ hot weather when necessary)
• Reliable and motivated to work at pace
• Own reliable transport
•
Pay Rates: Between $31 – $35 per hour

WINTER AT PALMWOOD TROPICALS

Our small Palmwood Tropicals team have been very busy bare rooting our ornamental ginger rhizomes over these last couple of chilly months in preparation for the upcoming ginger Summer season.

It’s ramping up to be a favourable season, with an abundance of colour to splash our nursery from early December this year.

Potting these beauties is the next step for our dedicated team.
