Our position on a sunny ridge, sheltered by giant eucalypts provides the perfect environment to propagate plants for your garden. At Gentiana Nursery we take great care in growing all our own plants on site. This provides us with an opportunity to give our customers detailed cultivation advice. Our plants are grown outdoors in situations suited to their requirements, which means they are fully har
dened and will settle into their new homes with a minimum of shock. At Gentiana Nursery many of our cuttings and seed grown plants have taken many years to prepare for sale, and will never be seen in large retail chains. We understand that a plants ability to perform in a pot is in no way indicative of its performance in the garden, therefore we select our plants not on appearance at point of sale, more rather their ability to be robust in the garden setting. Gentiana Nursery’s owner, operator, propagator and gardener is a plantsman in every sense of the word, and a regular presenter on 3CR radio’s Sunday morning garden show. With over 30 years experience, and a long list of regular customers, we know that the plants we produce at Gentiana Nursery are truly garden worthy.
