Nestled into the lower slopes of Mt Canobolas, this glorious new addition to the trail is both highly productive and incredibly whimsical. Set off beautifully by the original C19 post office which is now part of the family home, a large array of vegetable beds, a small vineyard and a flock of sheep make this garden worth every effort to visit!

Feeling quietly confident that the threat of frost has passed 🤞🏻 So I’m powdering my egg shells, raiding my worm farm for castings and fortifying the veggie beds (I know my chickens won’t eat the tomato plants but they will continue the bed cultivation well past what’s necessary- thanks girls, just stick to the egg laying 🐓). I haven’t had any luck with growing ‘planted’ tomatoes in recent years.. but the self seeded cherry toms dominate every available space. I’m hoping that by putting them in some raised beds with plenty of duck pond water it may yield a better result than my past attempts. One can only try… and try… and try.. and try……. 😝 Have a great Monday gardeners!
