Here's the finished result of one of the rooms of a house in Burleigh. The colour the client chose was very very white and had only 3 drops of ochre tint per 15L of low sheen, which makes it prone to "picture framing" unless it is applied correctly using the "wet on wet" method.

It's now looking amazing. We'll put some photos up of the whole job. This video just shows up close what we have achieved.

So we are on a job in Burleigh doing a full internal and we've discovered that the colour the client has chosen is one of those colours that requires the "wet on wet" method.

With some whites there's very limited tint put in to make the colour. This can cause a phenomenon called "picture framing". The only way to prevent the picture framing is by painting wet on wet. This means cutting all the edges around a wall and rolling that same wall immediately, keeping a wet edge. If you cut in all the walls then roll you get picture framing with some whites and the wet on wet method helps eliminate this issue.

It's a much longer process and takes alot longer to paint the house and is indeed more expensive so colour choice can sometimes be crucial.

We're currently in Paradise Point on a bathroom renovation. Apply sealer to the ceilings, walls, architraves. Some gap filling, nail holes filling and sanding in the architraves as well.
