Righto, I’ll try and keep this as short as possible. Ormeau Lawn & Garden is soon to be under new management. I have sold the business to a fabulous pair of guys who are going to keep up the huge task of looking after our local community and keeping the same standards as I have kept for over 20 yrs. They officially take over on May 4th, I will be doing a 4 week handover and then working for them for a couple of days a week at this stage. A lot of you beautiful people won’t even notice I’m not the owner anymore as you’ll still see me around and keeping the new guys on their toes…
After my recent health scare and the fact my body is worn and broken in places after this long period on the tools,has lead me to make this decision. Backing off and leading a semi retired lifestyle is where I’ll be from now on. Its going to be a bit weird not getting up everyday and putting on the clothes that everyone recognises me and it will be a bitter sweet moment but I’m sure I’ll enjoy it once it happens. Life is short and it’s taken me a long time to realise that time spent with loved ones is so important especially as we get older, it’s time to work less and live more and hang out with the person that has taught me so much in life and still keeps me in line on a daily basis 🫣
Please be assured that the business is in great hands, the new guys come from a business background and are 💯 % committed to not only keeping the standards but also raising them if that’s at all possible. They assure me that customer service is top of the priority list and will be open to all means of communication if anyone has any questions or concerns.
Don’t forget I’ll still be around in some capacity for a while to take your calls or messages
Thank you so much for your business, it’s been an absolute pleasure helping you guys and keeping your gardens neat and tidy. I’ll miss our short brief chats with most of you even during our busy times, each and everyone of you have made my day delightful, even if my face didn’t reflect it 😂
