If you’re seeing a bunch of these guys around and wondering what they are, they are passionvine hoppers. I’ve mostly seen them on citrus, but are on other plants as well. They can cause significant damage to plants and often attract ants to feed on their “honeydew” secretions left on leaves.

Citrus leaf miner is starting to affect citrus leaves in Melbourne. The clear lines mostly affect new growth and I find the easiest remedy is to cut off the affected leaves which stops the spread. It has a short active period, so if you get to them early it is easy to stop.
