With heavy hearts, we mourn the unexpected passing of a cherished soul, Raymond Arthur Hipkins. A devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather, he graced this world with his love and warmth, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will endure through the ages.

Dad was not just a man; he was a beacon of light in the lives of those around him. As a great Orchid Grower, he found solace and purpose in the nurturing of nature's beauty. His love for the nursery was only surpassed by the joy he found on the farms, surrounded by his beloved family.

A true Gentleman in every sense of the word, Dad -aka- Fatty was a Mentor to many and a Friend to all who were fortunate enough to know him. His wisdom and guidance touched the lives of countless individuals, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

With Dads passing, Royale Orchids has lost a remarkable man whose absence will be deeply felt. As we move forward, guided by his spirit and vision, we will strive to continue growing and developing as he envisioned. Yet, the void left by his departure can never be filled, for he was a unique presence that illuminated our lives in ways words can not express.

Dad thankyou for the love you shared, the wisdom you imparted, and the joy you brought into our lives.

Rest in peace, Dad You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing you.

Our nursery is going to be there this weekend at the Central Coast Spring Orchid Fair and Show. Keep reading for more details:

Mingara Orchid Club is holding its annual 2023 Central Coast Spring Orchid Fair and Show on Saturday 9th September 9am to 4pm and Sunday 10th September 10am to 3pm.
Location will be the Anglican Church Hall, Brooke Avenue Bateau Bay. Entry fee $3.00.

The Fair and Show will provide a fabulous festival of Australian Native Orchids and Exotic Orchids from around the world. The Fair and Show also includes Orchid Sales including accessories and Market Stalls, along with Art display. Food, coffee and tea BBQ and Cake Sales.

Admission $3 | Children under 18 Free
