Blue Mountains Residence with these beautiful old weather board homes. If you are out receiving quotes from Painters PLEASE do your research homes like this are not easy to paint. Extensive preparation goes into bringing this home back to life. Without the right preparation you could have the same issues happen again, flaking, peeling and still looking old.

I would have to say these kinds of jobs are my favourite, it may take a lot of work and effort but the end result is well worth it.

COLOUR SCHEME BELOW 👌

This home was already beautiful, but our clients wanted a more fresh look. We sprayed all windows, balustrade and garage doors matte black 2pac polyurethane.

We also painted the exterior bricks with Murobond Paints finish is Murowash colour is color bond surf mist quarter.

Eaves, cladding and render was in weathershield matte colour was color bond surf mist quarter.

These micro industrial units are perfect for companies my size. We looked for a long time to find something that didn't cost us a kidney. The Astina Storage Space in Emu Plains is great. The facilities they have included suit most businesses.

If your a business owner in the local Penrith area and needing an office space or somewhere to store your gear check them out.

If all you want is a fresh colour, WeatherShield is a good option. If you want to protect the render, hide imperfections, reduce future maintenance and give the home a premium textured finish, Acratex is the better solution.

Actratex is flexible and more durable which leaves a longer lasting finish.

Best tip for rolling brickwork.

Don't cut in the whole house. Do section by section and then roll straight away. If you cut in whole house and then roll the walls you will most likely get a boarder on your bricks and no one wants that.

Just a little something something.

This is where a little bit of something goes a long way.

Instead of standard paint, we used Dulux Acratex sand- A subtle textured coating that gives the brickwork extra deth and character without being overpowering.

Its not as heavy as bagging and it's not rough or chunky. It's just enough texture to catch the light and give the home a premium finish.

Don't ya hate it! You get set up outside and BAM the weather changes. So we quickly had to finish the wall we were doing and head inside to find other work. Yes we had to finish the wall to the cut off point or otherwise there would be a line where we stopped.

Took a while for me to get it out.

But what I was trying to say is communication is key on a job site. That's why I am selective with what builders I work with. An organised job site is good for everyone, it runs smoothly, trades know what is going on and the owner is always kept in the loop.

Working with Lukas Projects on this one and things always run smoothly with these boys.
