About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Steel Fixer with limited experience or those looking to develop their skills in the construction industry. As a Steel Fixer, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and securing of steel reinforcement in concrete structures, under the guidance of experienced team members. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your career in construction, gain hands-on experience, and receive ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the installation and securing of steel bars in formwork, walls, floors, and foundations according to construction drawings.

Measure, cut, and bend steel reinforcement with support from senior fixers.

Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment at all times.

Work under the supervision of experienced team members to learn and improve your skills.
Help prepare and handle materials and assist with site setup.

Learn to interpret technical drawings and gain experience with reinforcement techniques.
Perform general tasks to support the smooth running of the site.

Key Requirements:
Some experience in construction or a willingness to learn (previous experience as a Steel Fixer or in a similar role is a plus but not essential).

A strong interest in construction and a desire to develop a career in this field.

Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.

Physical fitness and the ability to handle materials and work in outdoor conditions.

A good work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
Must hold a NSW Drivers License that is valid
