This plunge pool area might not be the biggest deck we’ve built, but it’s a perfect example of how much difference a well finished space can make.

We installed NewTechWood composite decking, individually scribing each board around the pool tiles to get a clean, tight finish following the shape of the pool. No shortcuts, just plenty of measuring, cutting, checking and cutting again and again😂

To finish it off, we wrapped the area in Permatimber cladding, tying it back into the existing façade and making the whole outdoor area feel like it was designed together from day one.

You don’t always need a massive backyard or 100m² of decking to completely change a space. Get the materials, details and finish right, and even a small plunge pool can become a serious feature.

Atwell project getting the Lesgo glow up 🤙

We’ve kicked off a fresh renovation and there’s a fair bit happening on this one…

- 16mm Linea weatherboards wrapping the front & side of the house
- Eva-Last Pioneer decking transforming the outdoor area
-Cladded feature wall because we’re allergic to boring walls
- Soon to be gable alfresco

Basically, if it can be decked, cladded or wrapped, we’re having a crack at it. 😂

The boys are into it, the backyard currently looks like a Bunnings aisle exploded, and somehow I still can’t find my tape measure.

They say size matters, but this small deck sure packs a punch 🔥

We used NewTechWood Australia decking in IPE around the pool, bringing that warm timber look without the maintenance that comes with traditional timber.

To finish the space off, we paired it with the existing PermaTimber® cladding, adding another texture to the area and tying the whole outdoor setup together nicely.

Low maintenance, clean finishes and a pretty bloody good spot to spend a Perth summer. That I can confirm 🍻💦

Winter in Perth means one thing… content gets a little colder. 🥶

If I’m going to talk about cladding, I may as well do it from the client’s pool… even if it feels like an ice bath.

On this project we used NewTechWood Castellation Cladding in the IPE colour to transform the boundary fence and toilet block into a clean, modern feature that ties the whole outdoor area together. It’s a simple way to hide the ordinary and create something that actually adds value to the space.
