Are you looking for a chemical free way to get rid of those pesky w**ds in between pavers? Next time you boil the kettle for a cuppa, add a bit of extra water to it and use the boiling water to nuke your w**ds! The trick to staying on top of w**ds is to get to them before they flower then set seed and spread. I find doing a little bit here and there is much easier than doing a big bit every few months 🌱

Such a pretty genus 😍 if you had to choose just one, which would it be?

My client supplied the pots, and I chose the plants! Her requirements were ‘easy care’ and her home is very beautifully lit so the possibilities were endless! Premium potting mix and a quality control release fertiliser was used so she has nothing to worry about except watering for the next little while. Can’t wait to see these babies grow up 🌱

It’s so nice to be able to see the fruit of my labour. I pruned these rose bushes and topped the garden bed with manure at the end of July and they’re starting to burst into life and bloom. The soil is rich and full of worms 🌹I was back at this garden today to w**d and do some more pruning, thankfully the rain held off 🌧

Today’s job was a fun one! My client loves gardening and growing her own fruit and veg but unfortunately physically she’s not able to get out and about as much anymore. The solution was raised pots and garden beds, and today I set up 9 of these planters in drums for her, including the 2 dragon fruit frames which was a satisfying challenge. She chose mostly dwarf varieties for ease of reaching fruit as they grow, and even grew the avo and mango from seed, as well as the dragon fruits from small cuttings. A green thumb indeed 💚

Yesterday’s fun job in the last of this weeks sunshine was to move some beautiful old rose bushes. My client wanted to be able to see them, so I shifted them from the back corner to right outside her front door. Moving roses is best done when they’re dormant and after a hard prune. Of course I used soil improver to prepare their new forever homes 🌱
