In this project, the original layout was retained to keep the bed from being directly aligned with the bedroom entrance and to preserve open floor space — essential for the practical use of a trundle bed.
The existing flooring and bed were kept, with the addition of a rug and a bedside table to complete the arrangement. The ceiling fan also remained, while updates were proposed for the wardrobe handles, window blinds, bedding, duvet cover, and cushions.
The bed wall was refreshed with a soft green paint, removable wall decals, sports-themed prints, and functional wall hooks. On the opposite side, the new layout introduced open shelves, modular cubbies with baskets — perfect for organising and displaying toys — and a hexagonal cork board for a playful, personal touch.
The result is a room that’s both functional and designed to evolve as the child grows ✨
