Good evening,

I am writing to you to thank you for the referral of electrician Chris Hill of Global Lighting Electrical Services and to provide you some feedback.

Could you please acknowledge receipt of this e-mail.

I contacted the two electricians you referred to me by sending a text message to each of them asking to get back to me when convenient. It was during an evening so I did not want to interrupt after hours but was also aware that trades people are not necessarily able to take a call whilst working during the day. One of the electricians got back to me three days later. Chris got back to me within the hour.

I communicated with Chris via text message and was able to arrange a quote via text message. I must admit, it seemed a little unconventional organising a quote this way and, due to the competitive price, going ahead with it without even speaking to the person. This concern was alleviated fully when I received a call from Chris a few hours later. During this conversation, Chris confirmed the booking and stated that he would complete the work and only if I was completely satisfied would I have to pay. The way he spoke and this personal guarantee gave me great confidence.

Chris and his team arrived right on time. My first impressions were excellent. The first thing I noticed was that the team were wearing professional matching shirts with the company name embroidered. I also noticed the two vehicles were very clean and organised. Chris greeted me at the front door and in the background his team were busily and swiftly setting up their equipment. Chris spoke very professionally and instantly came across as a person who knew his trade very well. He had a very pleasant manner with a positive “no problem” and “can-do” attitude.

Chris listened carefully to my wife and I as we explained the work we wanted done and the positioning of lights and fans. As we did this Chris made excellent suggestions and provided very good advice backed with sound rationale. He was acutely aware that my three children were getting ready for school so he and the team avoided the children’s bedrooms until they had left for school.

As the team progressed with the work he regularly checked in with us to ensure we were happy. He laid out lights and fans in their intended positions before installing and obtained our approval. I noticed by his words and actions that he was a perfectionist. He would not allow anything to be a millimetre out. During this time I asked when he estimated that they would be finished as I had to plan and organise another commitment. He gave an estimated time of completion which ended up being spot on.

Upon completion, Chris walked us through and had us inspect every aspect of the work. Whilst he did this his team worked busily cleaning up to such an extent, they were using moist baby wipes on surfaces to ensure collection of all of the dust. Even though we were extremely impressed he insisted that if we were not happy with anything he would come back and rectify.

Chris and his team are an extremely professional outfit and I have no hesitation in saying, he provides the best customer service I have ever experienced. His workmanship is outstanding. Chris conducts himself in a professional, courteous, polite and friendly manner at the same time as having a very positive and happy attitude. My wife and I could not stop talking about the experience all day.

I would give Chris a ten out of ten for every aspect – price, punctuality, professionalism, workmanship etc etc. I am so impressed that I am proactively telling my friends and family that if they need an electrician, this is the man. I strongly suggest you continue recommending Chris because he makes the ordeal of having work done to your house a very good experience.
