After you have dethatched or vertimowed your lawn for Spring, it is a great idea to aerate or 'core' it too. Aeration is creating small holes in the lawn to allow air 💨 and 💧 water to pe*****te through to the root system - it also makes applying fertiliser and wetting agents more effective. This is a great renovation tool for established lawns and helps combat thatch 🌱 Try and keep foot traffic or pets playing on the area to a minimum whilst it recovers.

⚠️ARMYWORM UPDATE! ⚠️ We are currently experiencing one of the worst seasons of Armyworm / Cutworm / Sod Webworm 🐛 in WA - it is important to stay alert as this pest can decimate lawns in days 😔
WHAT TO LOOK OUT FOR: White moths hanging around your lawn at night, loss of lawn foliage and chew marks in leaves. Pour soapy water (water and dishwashing liquid) over the lawn in the evening and any grubs should float to the surface.
