My two favourite phrases....
"I found someone who can do it cheaper"
"Too expensive, I'll call my friend/ hubby/ cousin to come over with a drill to do the job".
Below is a nice bathroom cabinet from Bunnings, a decent quality unit that claims to have all the mounting hardware inside the box....
Image 2 is the mountings hardware supplied, 4 piddly wall plugs (the size I'd use for a medium sized painting with a timber frame) and 2 of the scariest hanging brackets I've seen in a while. The expectation is to hang the weight of the 17kgs cabinet plus contents by sliding the bracket mounts over the 2 brackets seen in the pic.
This is not only incredibly weak (these plastic style wall plugs are notorious for failure under load) but the cabinet can easily fall off the wall should a child etc pull it with a sideways motion.
Anyway, I finished the installation using 4x 80mm bolts with timber spacers up against the wall. Overkill? Yes, but I prioritise safety!
So, the next time someone "can do it cheaper" make sure they know what they are doing and ensure no one is at risk of injury if things were to go wrong.
Peace out and happy building!
