Yet another scam. If this was a legitimate business, they have to advertise their business name and their AU number which anyone can then check to make sure they are getting the services of a licensed technician.

Yesterday, I went out to a customer in Darch to service her evaporative cooler. We already knew that the pads needed changing which I did as well as cleaning out the unit. When I went to test the unit I realised it wasn’t pumping any or very little water up onto the pads. On further inspection, I realised that the pump that someone had replaced in 2001 in her Coolbreeze evaporative cooler was in fact a second hand pump out of an AOLAN evaporative cooler, which were discontinued certainly here in WA at least two years ago according to my wholesalers.
The pump wasn’t secured properly and still had the Aolan holding brackets on. The customer told me that she was charged a lot of money for this.
It is disgusting that there are so many crooks out there doing dodgy work like this.

Please people, only use reputable companies and if possible check what you are getting. If you know the model you have, you can easily check the parts and even the prices of the parts by a simple Google search or by going onto the GAMATO website.

Let me Service your split system before the hot weather hits. We strip the indoor unit down, clean all the plastic components and bag wash the coil and fan wheel. The water in the bucket is what came out of one indoor unit!

The coil is where the heat exchange takes place in the room and a dirty coil makes the heat exchange much less efficient costing a lot more to run.

The fan wheel (pictures) was heavily soiled. The blades are shaped to scoop the air and when they are heavily soiled it can feel like there is little to no air coming off the fan.

Let me turn your evap cooler from grimy to shiny. Getting rid of all that dirt helps to prevent harmful bacteria from building up. Removing significant amounts of scale and dirt helps to keep the parts in your unit working better and for longer.

Not only do we clean out the unit, we go that extra step and test it as well to make sure that everything works properly. Any repairs that are required are quoted including pads. Common parts to fail are water solenoids, drain valves and pumps. These are all parts we usually carry in the Ute. Fan motors are easily available from our two great spare parts wholesalers in Perth.

A new split system installed for a client in Dianella. The original condenser unit has been left on the ground in front of the fence and the ground slopes down right to left from the windows. That is not good for the compressor. Therefore the new unit is on a wall bracket, which looks much better and freed up some courtyard space

Just came from a clients house (Friday) the unit was very dirty. Can you imagine breathing that in? You can see from the colour of the water in the bucket, how much dirt came off. The air flow and efficiency of the unit are now better as a result.
