🌿 Casual Garden Centre Position Now Available 🌿
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-focused person to join our garden centre team.
This casual role offers consistent weekday hours and is well suited to someone looking for daytime work, particularly during school hours.
🗓 Must be available Mondays & Thursdays (essential)
🗓 Additional weekday shifts available, with occasional weekend shifts on offer
What you’ll be doing:
• Keeping shelves fully stocked, faced up and well presented
• Managing stock levels (identifying gaps and overstock)
• Assisting with weekly stock deliveries
• Maintaining a clean, organised department
• Watering and caring for indoor & outdoor plants
• Assisting customers and providing helpful garden advice
• Supporting customers across the store (no hardware experience required – you’ll learn as you go)
About you:
✔ Highly organised with strong attention to detail
✔ Takes pride in keeping spaces neat, full and well presented
✔ Proactive and able to take ownership of your area
✔ Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
✔ Friendly, approachable, and enjoys helping customers
✔ A problem-solver who enjoys finding the right solution
✔ Interest in gardening or plant care is a bonus
Retail or POS experience is beneficial but not essential.
This is a hands-on role combining stock, plant care, and customer service in a busy, customer-focused environment.
