Have you seen a nest like this before? I believe it to be the Australian processionary caterpillar (hairy caterpillars). Found at the base of an Acacia baileyana purpura in the food forest. Hopefully my chickens and ducks don't try to eat them.

Planted a mango tree today grown from a seed by my dad! 🥭

Feeding sardines with no added salt to chickens can be a healthy protein and essential oils for them. They also love them as you can see how excited they are. Holly buys them sardines every Saturday as a treat.

As the lush expanse of the garden and food forest continues its relentless expansion, the human memory, much like the phases of the moon, seems to wax and wane, often leaving one to wonder what was previously known. Every wizard needs a reminder now and then 🧙‍♂️😁 Currently creating signs to display around the property to help the memory and attention span to what needs to be done.

Did you know a banana is a Mood support? They contain tryptophan, an amino acid that the body converts to serotonin, this can aid in better sleep and improve the mood. No wonder my geese are so calm. 🤣😄🧙‍♂️
