This time we are looking for someone at the beginning of their Landscape journey or a Gardener with experience to join our team.
We are a construction/maintenance business with ongoing work in the North of Melbourne. We build high end residential gardens, civil works, insurance and private enterprise projects. Our work is almost always in the Diamond Valley and we pay above ward rates.Plenty of room for growth within our team.

Recently completed Community Garden at Lavende Arilla retirement village, South Morang. This community garden will be used by the residents for their vegetable and herb gardens throughout the year.
Designed and constructed by Mars Landscapes this garden maximises efficiency, access and usability for our residents.
33 Concrete planters of 2 sizes for resident use from . 4 Fruit trees and 2 olive trees in corten planters from . All plants from including a magnificent Gleditsia 'Sunburst' which will provide future shade with herbs underfoot.
Boundary fence has a grape and passionfruit vine for the picking.
Native grasses blend into the theme of the village and give the area some privacy from the street.

Recently completed garden makeover in Doreen. Partial demo of rear yard and full demo of front yard. New sawn basalt steps surrounded by blue mudstone from our friends at . Fully automated wifi irrigation system with intelligent watering function based on real time and projected weather. Wifi lighting system controlled via phone app. New rear lawn with irrigation.

Usually my posts are about Mars Landscapes, but today please let me indulge myself. Today marks 25 years in the landscape industry. Starting back in 2000 with Richard Baldwin Landscapes in Eltham whilst still studying my Architecture Degree at Deakin University. 4 years later, after completing my degree, I found myself working with at Patio Landscape Architecture and Designs Melbourne office with the very talented Harriette Conway whom I miss deeply.
2006 and the birth of my first son it was time to start Mars Landscapes closer to home. With maybe 1000 gardens designed and/or built and numerous awards we are now a significant part of Melbourne’s landscape industry. There is not much I haven’t seen, built, fixed or dreamt in Landscaping and the next phase of Mars Landscapes is to pass on this knowledge to my staff whilst continuing to build our local business which is grounded in quality and honesty. With so many people to thank for their advice, mentorship and guidance I offer a collective thank you to all.
Heres to another 25…. Hoping you can join me (or at least follow us)
