Hoverflies,or Flower flies, are the second most beneficial insects after bees and are also responsible for pollination. They feed on nectar and pollen and we encourage them to OurFarmBoxes as much as possible by co planting plants that will flower and provide them with food and they in turn will provide us with food. A real win win. Plus you just can’t help smile when you watch them hover over your plants.
