For one night, he’ll be sleeping outside, but thousands of Australians face this reality every night.

Meet Josh - Senior Site Supervisor

Josh’s journey at G-Force began on the tools as a carpenter, before progressing into his current role as Senior Site Supervisor, bringing with him a strong background in high-end residential construction and specialist carpentry projects.

Over the years, Josh has built a reputation for being organised, approachable and highly detail-focused, with a deep understanding of what it takes to coordinate trades and deliver quality outcomes on site.

His project experience spans education, commercial fit-outs and complex residential builds, including:

✔️ Blackfriars Priory School – Library Refurbishment
✔️ Seymour College – Boarding House Upgrades
✔️ Multiple high-end residential renovations and additions

Josh also holds a Commercial & Residential Builders Licence.

PROJECT FEATURE: Goodwood Primary School Hall

Location: Goodwood, South Australia
Scope: Heritage Conservation | Structural Works | Internal Upgrade

G-Force Building & Consulting recently completed a comprehensive upgrade to the Goodwood Primary School Hall, enhancing both the structure and usability of this important space.

Delivered across both external and internal scopes, the works included:

External Works:

✔️ Repointing masonry across all hall façades
✔️ New external paving
✔️ Minor roofing repairs
✔️ Carpentry works, including installation of new doors to the Goodwood Road frontage

Internal Works:

✔️ Reconstruction of floor framing and structural supports
✔️ Installation of new subfloor ventilation
✔️ New flooring with line marking for multipurpose use
✔️ Plaster repairs and full internal repaint
✔️ Installation of acoustic wall claddings to improve functionality of the space

Working within an operational school environment, the project was carefully staged to minimise disruption while delivering a durable, functional and refreshed hall for students and staff.

A great outcome for a space that continues to serve its community every day.

Allan Campbell Building, North Terrace

Architect:
Scope: Facade Conservation | Gilding | Verandah Reconstruction | Masonry & Leadwork
Location: Adelaide CBD

Prominently positioned along North Terrace, the Allan Campbell Building is a heritage-listed structure steeped in medical history.
G‑Force Building & Consulting was engaged to carefully restore and protect this architectural asset, delivering a suite of facade conservation works that balance preservation with structural resilience.

Project works included:
✔️ Full reconstruction of the verandah
✔️ Detailed masonry repairs, respecting original materials and form
✔️ Specialist gilding works to heritage carved masonry signage, restoring and enhancing original detailing
✔️ Installation of new lead flashings to protect from water ingress while maintaining heritage appearance

Executed in collaboration with Studio Nine Architects, this project exemplifies the attention to detail and craft required when working within Adelaide’s historic urban fabric.

Restoring a heritage stone wall isn’t a sprint, it’s more like a long day in the field.

The slow rhythm of re-plastering around original stonework with the same kind of focus and patience you'd find in a good game of test cricket. No shortcuts. Just skill, and a respect for the history in front of them.

This is just one of the many skills that go into delivering the projects you see finished.

Meet Kim – Heritage Services Manager.

With more than 20 years’ experience in masonry restoration and conservation across South Australia, Kim leads G-Force’s heritage team with skill, care and integrity.

Beginning his career as a plasterer before running his own stonemasonry business, Kim understands heritage buildings from the ground up. Combined with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide, his practical trade knowledge and conservation insight make him a trusted leader on complex restoration works.

Kim is known for his calm, personable approach and strong project coordination.

64 Pennington Terrace

Location: North Adelaide, South Australia

Set among some of the city's most iconic streetscapes, this heritage-listed building on Pennington Terrace received a careful and considered facade conservation treatment by the G‑Force Building & Consulting team.

The works included:
✔️ Extensive masonry restoration using traditional materials and techniques
✔️ Roofing repairs and refinishing in keeping with the original heritage profile
✔️ Detailed cast iron lacework restoration across the two-storey veranda

Undertaken in collaboration with Studio Nine Architects, the project reflects G-Force’s ongoing commitment to preserving South Australia’s architectural establishments.
