With the Winter Solstice just days away, Southern Tasmania feels very much as it should.

Cold, wet and moody.

The paddocks are saturated … the highlands are quiet … and low cloud sits heavily across the fields.

Deep winter at the bottom of the world is my favourite time of the year. With every morning comes a reminder to slow down, notice the changing landscape, and appreciate the beauty of the seasons.
