The Windsor Community Garden is humming! 🥕🧅🥬 Spring blossoms and flowers blooming with harvest of onions, turnips, carrots, radish and lettuce. Establishment of a new forest garden in progress as well as the recent nest eggs of a spotted dove in the broccoli bed 🥦🐣

The volunteer gardeners have been busy on a number of projects including the following.

1. Completed the building of the compost bins-used old wooden pallets and lined with old, corrugated metal donated.
2. Moved old compost bins to create 2 x large community gardens beds and two small garden beds.
3. Built the forest garden.
4. Planted out seedlings.
5. Sowed seeds in the glasshouse.
6. Welcomed some more new members.
7. Moved Windsor child centre to a new garden plot.
8. Created a new garden plot for St Anthony’s childcare.
9. Hosted Launceston Christian School for gardening workshop/experience.
10. Built mesh towers of straw and mulch and planted several varieties of potato.
